How to use Hokuyo Laser Scanners with the urg_node

  1. Install


First you have to get the hokuyo_node package. You can install it using

$ sudo apt-get install ros-%DISTRO%-urg-node 

Enter 'y' afterward to install the dependencies (note that this will only come up as an option if rosdep has been initialized. See the install ROS instructions for details)
